Coronavirus Update Please Report COVID-19 Cases
Please report all positive cases of COVID-19 involving a student to the school nurse as soon as the case is confirmed. By quickly reporting cases to the school nurse, the required contact tracing can be completed in order to keep all members of the school community healthy and safe. Anyone exhibiting signs of illness, regardless of whether or not they have tested positive for COVID-19, is to stay home. Thank you.

School Board Meeting Reminder
School Board Meeting
On Tuesday, June 15, the Frederick County School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. (Closed Session) / 7:00 p.m. (Public Session) at the FCPS Administration Building. The meeting is open to the public. Masks covering the nose and mouth will be required for anyone attending the meeting as the Governor's Executive Order 79 requires individuals to wear face coverings when indoors on school property. The meeting will also be made accessible via a live video stream on the FCPS YouTube Channel.

Summer Meals Program
Frederick County Public Schools is offering a free meals program to school-aged children each Wednesday throughout the summer. From June 16 through August 18, school-aged children can receive a free meal box between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each Wednesday at Apple Pie Ridge Elementary School, Redbud Run Elementary School or Sherando High School.

Preschool Registration
Preliminary applications for the 2021-22 FCPS pre-kindergarten program are still being accepted from the families of eligible students residing in the Apple Pie Ridge, Evendale, Gainesboro, Indian Hollow, Jordan Springs, Middletown, Redbud Run and Stonewall elementary school attendance zones.
