  • A physical is not required to participate at this time but is highly encouraged.
  • Physicals will be required to participate starting Thursday, July 30 for football and on Monday, August 3 for all other fall sports.
  • We will adhere to a strict protocol that includes coach and advisor training, pre-screening upon athlete arrival, workout times and configurations and post work-out directions.
  • It is extremely important that protocols are established and strictly followed so we can continue to move forward with this process.
  • An online Assumption of Risk and Waiving of Liability document must be completed and signed by the athlete’s parent or legal guardian.
  • The pre-screening process involves the following:
    1. Staggered arrival time and screenings will be utilized to decrease the number of individuals waiting for screening.
    2. Participants will remain in their vehicles at their designated parking location until a screening is completed by school personnel.
    3. Complete the Pre-Activity Screening Questionnaire. If a student-athlete reports any symptoms of illness they will not be permitted to participate and must leave campus immediately.
    4. Temperature readings will also be taken using forehead infrared thermometers. Anyone with temperatures exceeding 100.3°F will not be permitted to participate and must leave campus immediately.
    5. Each participant is required to bring a full water bottle. Absolutely no sharing of water bottles is permitted.
    6. If able to meet all the above criteria, the student will be permitted to participate for that session. If the student is not able to meet all above criteria, the screening staff will communicate with the parent/guardian and the student must immediately leave campus.
    7. If the student has reported any symptoms or has a temperature reading above 100.3 he or she will not be allowed back to participated for a period of 10 days and being symptom free for the 72 hours leading up to return. The student may also return with a note from a physician stating that they are clear for a safe return to participation.
    8. No indoor access will be allowed during the first week of workouts.
    9. Time of athlete’s departure is also logged on Pre-Activity Screening Log.
